Mind, Body, and Soul Healing Lesson 2

My very first lesson led me to ask, “who am I?”. It sounds like a simple question that we can all easily answer. But, I don’t know who I am, so I took this to the next level and tried to come up with as many descriptive words to answer this question. Sometimes we have to start somewhere.

Your Assignment:

Answer the question:

“Who am I?”

Answer it however you want. Don’t worry about what anyone would think or say about you. No one but you will read this unless you decide to post a blog about it, like I am.

Who am I?

  • I’m a daughter of the King (Jesus/God)
  • I’m a mother to three amazing human beings
  • I’m a grandmother to four bundles of blessings
  • I’m a woman of God, I have integrity, honesty, morals, and work ethic
  • I am curious, always wondering how and why things work
  • I am kind. I don’t ever want to cause harm to anyone or anything
  • I am loving. Unconditional and would do anything for those I love
  • I am a protector. Full out mama bear if need be
  • I am smart. I can usually figure things out
  • I am resourceful and resilient
  • I am not afraid of failure or success
  • But I am sometimes scared to show the real me
  • I am strong mentally, physically, and emotionally
  • I am excited about life and love to have experiences
  • I am a warrior. I fight the good fight.
  • I am not afraid to try
  • I am always ready to learn
  • I am a decent human being and would have me for a friend.
  • I like who I am

I noted in my writings that this was only a positive view to find the good things about me as I have no trouble knowing all the bad.

That might be true for you too. When you think about who you are, do you think of negative or positive things? It’s okay to have both. We are complex creatures full of choices and possibilities. No two lives are the same and we all have done things, made decisions, or choices that we are not proud of. And that’s okay. It’s part of our story that we are no longer allowed to hide from.
