Ingredients

2 cups gluten free flour
1/2 tbsp xanthan gum (if not included in flour mix)
1 tbsp psyllium husk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp yeast
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp of oil for coating bowl and pan
1 cup warm water
Chosen pizza toppings that can be whatever you want (pizza sauce, barbeque sauce, meat, veggies, cheese, pineapple, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a smaller bowl stir together, sugar, yeast and water and sit aside until bubbles form
  2. In a mixing bowl, (helps if you have a counter mixer) mix flour, xanthan gum (if flour does not contain it), psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt
  3. Add the yeast mix to the flour and blend on medium for 4 minutes- scrape sides as needed until ball dough forms
  4. Once ball dough is formed, put in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a towel. This should set for about 30 minutes until the dough rises. Can heat oven to 110 degrees F and then turn off the oven, put the towel covered bowl in the warmed oven to rise quicker
  5. Oil the baking sheet or pizza stoneware and roll dough out in the desired shape. Or make into smaller pizza for party decorating or personal pizzas.
  6. Set oven to 425 degrees F and bake crust for 15 minutes until golden.
  7. Remove from oven and add your favorite pizza toppings and bake another 10-15 minutes until done.
  8. Cool slightly before eating to prevent mouth burns by eating too soon.
